What to Put on Your Digital Business Card (and What to Leave Off)

A digital business card has one job: help the person who opens it contact you, find you or save your number, quickly. Everything on it should support that job.

Must-haves

  • Your name and business name, with a clear photo or logo.
  • One line about what you do, for example "Dental clinic in Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana".
  • Call and WhatsApp buttons at the top, where thumbs reach easily.
  • Save contact, so your number goes into their phone with the right name.
  • Google Maps directions if customers visit you.

Nice to have

  • Instagram, Facebook and YouTube links, if you actually post there.
  • A link to your Google reviews. Good reviews do the selling for you.
  • Your website, or a short list of services.
  • Payment details such as a UPI ID, if customers pay you directly.
  • A small gallery of your work, shop or products.

Leave these off

  • Social media pages you haven't updated in a year.
  • Long paragraphs about your history. Put that on your website.
  • More than one phone number, unless they serve different purposes.
  • Low-quality, stretched or pixelated logos.

Share it everywhere

Once it is ready, use it: put the link in your WhatsApp Business profile and Instagram bio, print the QR code on bills and shop windows, add it to your email signature, and share it after every new enquiry.

We design digital business cards with all of the above in your branding, ready to share by link, QR code or NFC card. Book a free demo to get yours.
